Typical Day or Week in the Role
Typical task breakdown:
- Manage end to end recruiting for high volume hourly production and manufacturing roles (requisition intake through offer acceptance)
- Partner with facility leaders and workforce planners to align recruiting activity with production schedules and labor forecasts
- Develop and execute location specific sourcing strategies based on labor market conditions and hiring urgency
- Conduct resume reviews and recruiter phone screens, assessing skills, availability, and shift alignment
- Present qualified candidate slates and consult with hiring managers on selection decisions
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, and hiring steps with TA coordinators and shared services
- Track pipeline health, identify bottlenecks, and adjust recruiting strategies to meet hiring targets
- Maintain accurate and compliant data in Workday Recruiting and related tracking tools
- Communicate regular status updates to HR partners, facility leaders, and TA leadership
- Support surge hiring or urgent production needs as required
Interaction with team:
- Daily interaction with facility hiring managers and operations leaders
- Ongoing collaboration with HR Business Partners and workforce planners
- Close partnership with TA coordinators and shared services for scheduling, offers, and pre-employment processing
- Regular alignment with TA leadership on priorities, metrics, and capacity
- Occasional coordination with external vendors or staffing partners for large scale or urgent hiring needs
Team Structure
- Fast paced, production driven recruiting environment with high hiring volumes and shifting priorities
- In Office supporting multiple U.S. manufacturing facilities remotely
- Work aligned to plant schedules and production timelines, occasionally requiring flexibility
- High level of stakeholder interaction and communication across time zones and shifts
- Strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and candidate experience in a manufacturing context
