Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Workday ERP Training Developer (Contract). This role is remote, ~35 hours/week/up to 10 weeks. Summary: We are seeking a Workday ERP Training Developer to support training development for a Workday implementation. This role focuses on creating practical, engaging learning materials to drive user adoption across HR, Finance, Payroll, and grant management functions. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop training materials including instructor-led training (ILT) guides, job aids, quick reference materials, FAQs, and video walkthroughs
- Support execution of a training plan with defined timelines and deliverables
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and usability of content
- Manage multiple training assets and meet aggressive project deadlines
- Participate in project meetings and provide training status updates
- Support users during and after training delivery
- Gather feedback and continuously improve training materials
- Collaborate with change management resources to support adoption
Scope
- Training audience of approximately 1,200 employees
- Functional areas include HR, Finance, Payroll, and post-award grant management
- Development of a high volume of training assets in multiple formats
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Workday implementation experience with at least 1 year of experience as a Workday Trainer
- Demonstrable experience leading training initiatives for at least one full-lifecycle Workday implementation
- Experience developing ERP or enterprise system training materials
- Experience creating ILT content, job aids, and video-based training
- Strong familiarity with Workday (HCM and/or Finance preferred)
- Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles
- Strong understanding of adult learning methodologies and instructional design principles
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor training activities effectively
- Ability to work independently in a remote, time-bound contract role
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable training content for diverse audiences
Preferred/Nice to Have:
- Experience in higher education
- Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies in training environments
- Experience supporting a Workday implementation or system go-live
- Experience working with vendors or implementation partners
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
