OVERVIEWCompensation Analyst
Remote As Alera Group continues to grow and evolve, strong compensation strategy and data integrity are critical to supporting our people and our business. We are seeking a Compensation Analyst who will play a key role in maintaining competitive, equitable, and well-governed compensation programs across the enterprise.
This role combines analytical rigor with operational execution - supporting job pricing, salary benchmarking, reporting, and compensation administration within Workday. You'll partner closely with HR and business leaders to ensure our compensation practices are data-driven, aligned, and scalable.

RESPONSIBILITIESHow You'll Make an Impact:Market Analysis & Job Pricing
- Conduct job pricing and compensation benchmarking across all levels using external market data and internal equity analysis
- Evaluate roles and provide data-driven recommendations to support competitive positioning
Data Integrity & Reporting
- Lead compensation data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy and consistency within Workday and related datasets
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc compensation reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR and business leaders
- Maintain and improve reporting tools that enhance visibility into compensation trends
Compensation Administration
- Support annual compensation review processes and salary structure maintenance
- Assist with sales compensation review and related analysis
- Partner on Workday compensation configuration, testing, and process optimization
Strategic Initiatives
- Manage salary survey participation, including submission and analysis of published results
- Contribute to enterprise-wide compensation projects and transformation initiatives
- Support ongoing improvements to compensation structures and governance processes
QUALIFICATIONSWhat You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience required; prior experience in insurance or financial services strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Workday compensation functionality
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data integrity

Base salary range is $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
This position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.
