Full-Time Nanny / Housekeeper – Tenafly, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – between 5:00–8:00 PM
(Occasionally until 8:00 PM when parents have extended workdays)
Compensation: $25 - $23/hour

Warm, busy family in Tenafly is seeking a full-time nanny/housekeeper to become a steady and positive presence in their home.
They have four children: ages 9, 7, 4 (all in school full day), and a 7-month-old baby.
The parents work long hours and do not have extended family nearby, so they are looking for someone who will truly become part of their support system. They value kindness, reliability, and a joyful spirit in their home.
Role Overview
This position is primarily focused on the 7-month-old baby, with additional household and after-school support for the older children.
Primary Responsibilities
Infant Care (Primary Focus)
- Full care of the 7-month-old
- Feeding, naps, and maintaining a consistent routine
- Age-appropriate developmental play
- Monitoring milestones
- Maintaining baby’s laundry and organization
Applicants must have experience caring for a baby under one year old.
Household & Meal Support (During Baby’s Nap Time)
- Light housekeeping related to children
- Tidying common areas
- Preparing meals for the children
- Keeping the home organized and running smoothly
This is not a heavy cleaning position — the focus is on supporting the household while the baby sleeps.
After-School Support
- Driving to pick up children from school
- Transporting older children to after-school activities
- Helping manage the afternoon transition
- Supporting homework flow and dinner routine
Must be comfortable driving and handling a larger vehicle.
Schedule & Flexibility
The standard schedule is 7:45 AM to between 5:00–7:00 PM.
Occasionally, parents may need coverage until 8:00 PM.

Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of childcare experience
- Direct experience caring for an infant under one year old
- Valid driver’s license and confident driving ability
- Comfortable driving a large car
- Strong references
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
