Job Summary:
As a Compensation Analyst, you'll collaborate with HR teams and management to ensure competitive and compliant compensation practices. This role supports the Manager, Compensation by analyzing market data, maintaining compensation structures in HR systems, ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulations, and driving enterprise-wide compensation initiatives. The position serves as a subject matter expert within a centralized compensation function supporting multiple companies.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise HR and management on compensation decisions, pay strategy, and job alignment.

Lead participation in and analysis of compensation surveys, providing data-driven recommendations.

Conduct market pricing for new and existing roles to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.

Administer and enhance compensation tools and processes to maintain accuracy and consistency.

Support and execute annual compensation planning cycles (merit, bonus, equity), ensuring system readiness and data accuracy.

Partner with HR and Recruiting to align job architecture and compensation structures.

Evaluate FLSA classifications and develop salary recommendations in compliance with wage and hour laws.

Prepare and submit required reporting (EEO, wage reports, audits) and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Develop and deliver training and communications related to compensation programs and policies.

Manage and support compensation-related projects including HRIS updates, policy changes, and program implementations.

Monitor compensation compliance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

Experience with Workday Compensation
-
Minimum of 1-2 years in compensation advising or administration.

Analytical skills with attention to detail.

Knowledge of wage and hour laws.

Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Skills:

Retail compensation knowledge.

Experience with Workday Talent or other modules

HR certifications are a plus.
