We are seeking an experienced
Workday Integration Developer to support, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and third‑party applications. This is a
hands‑on, technical role focused on building APIs, managing inbound and outbound interfaces, and supporting identity, HR, and enterprise system integrations (e.g., SailPoint). The ideal candidate has deep experience with Workday integration technologies and thrives in a support‑oriented, production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations using delivered and custom integration solutions
- Build and maintain APIs and web services to enable data exchange between Workday and third‑party applications
- Develop and support inbound and outbound interfaces including HR, Financials, Payroll, Identity, and Benefits integrations
- Create and maintain integrations using:
- Workday Studio
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Core Connectors (Worker, Organization, Payroll, etc.)
- Support identity and access management integrations, including SailPoint and other provisioning/de‑provisioning solutions
- Monitor integrations, troubleshoot failures, and resolve issues in production environments
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Security, and external vendors to gather requirements and ensure accurate data flow
- Ensure integrations comply with security, data privacy, and internal governance standards
- Document integration design, configurations, testing results, and support procedures
- Support Workday releases by regression testing integrations and applying necessary updates
- Provide operational support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and post‑implementation support
Required Qualifications - 3+ years of hands‑on experience developing and supporting Workday Integrations
- Strong experience with:
- Workday Studio
- REST and SOAP APIs
- XML, JSON, XSLT
- Proven experience creating inbound and outbound interfaces with Workday
- Experience integrating third‑party applications (e.g., SailPoint, benefit vendors, payroll providers)
- Strong understanding of Workday business processes and data models
- Experience troubleshooting integration errors and performance issues
- Ability to support production environments and respond to integration incidents
