Position Overview:
As an Irrigation Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing irrigation systems for residential and commercial clients. We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in irrigation installation, system troubleshooting, and a commitment to providing top-tier customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Irrigation System Maintenance & Installation: Conduct system checks, repairs, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance of irrigation controllers, valves, and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with office staff, management companies, and homeowners to resolve any issues and maintain strong relationships.
- Documentation & Reporting: Accurately complete paperless work orders and provide detailed irrigation notes and billing information.
- Work Efficiency: Manage tasks efficiently, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Truck Maintenance: Ensure that company vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained, reflecting the professionalism of the brand.
- Physical Requirements: Perform manual labor as necessary, including digging and lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to provide high-quality service and meet company goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 year of experience in irrigation installation or related fields.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of irrigation controllers, valves, and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 20+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling work orders and client billing.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional service.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Standard Hours: 8-hour workdays, with the potential for overtime.
- Weekend Availability: Opportunities for weekend work as needed.
