We’re partnered with a major retailer seeking a Workday HCM Functional Analyst to support and enhance their enterprise Workday environment with a strong focus on Talent Management and broader HCM functionality. You will partner closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to optimize business processes, improve the employee experience, and support ongoing Workday initiatives across a large, complex organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on functional configuration work, stakeholder engagement, and solving business challenges through Workday optimization.

Responsibilities

Support and enhance Workday HCM functionality with a primary focus on Talent Management
Configure and maintain Workday business processes and functional configurations
Partner with HR Business Partners, HR COEs, and IT teams to gather and translate business requirements
Support modules including Talent Management, Performance Management, Recruiting, Core HCM, and related areas
Maintain and optimize supervisory organizations, custom organizations, positions, locations, and related structures
Analyze and troubleshoot functional issues while driving process improvements
Participate in Agile delivery processes including sprint planning and scrum activities
Support testing, validation, and deployment of configuration changes
Assist with roadmap initiatives related to HR technology and process optimization
Provide functional expertise and guidance to stakeholders across the organization

Qualifications

6+ years of experience supporting HR cloud platforms and enterprise HR systems
Strong hands-on Workday HCM functional configuration experience
Experience supporting modules such as Talent Management, Performance Management, Recruiting, and Core HCM
Knowledge of Workday business process configuration and optimization
Experience working in large enterprise environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to partner effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with JIRA is highly preferred
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
