About the Role:
Job Title: Workday HCM Functional Consultant
Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, and Talent & Performance Management (TMPM).
- The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of Workday, including configuration, business process management, and multi-module implementations.
- This role is focused on functional consulting and configuration, and candidates with predominantly Workday Integration experience will not be considered.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience as a Workday Functional Consultant.
- Expertise in Core HCM.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting.
- Experience with Workday Benefits.
- Experience with Talent Management & Performance Management (TMPM).
- Strong knowledge of Workday functional configuration and setup.
- Experience configuring and managing Workday Business Processes.
- Hands-on experience with Job Requisition configuration.
- Ability to support and manage cross-functional Workday processes.
- Experience working on global or multi-country Workday implementations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in at least three of the four key modules:
- Core HCM
- Recruiting
- Benefits
- Talent & Performance Management (TMPM)
- Workday Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements-gathering skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Workday environments.
Location: Richmond, VA or McLean, VA or Plano, TX or Chicago, IL or New York, NY - Hybrid Onsite role
Salary and Other Compensation:The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$90,000- 100,000 annually]/[$50.00- $60.00 per hour]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
