Senior Manager - HR Technology & Analytics
Background:
Manage the day-to-day operations, configuration, security, and upkeep of the organization’s HR technology platforms to maintain data accuracy and streamline processes. Lead a technical team by coordinating system upgrades, resolving complex technical issues, building analytics, and reporting that informs business decisions. Ensure workforce data remains reliable, secure, and actionable to support strategic HR planning.
Project:
- Own the daily operation of HR systems, including installations, configuration, user access, workflows, and integrations.
- Ensure systems run smoothly, stay up-to-date, and align with business needs.
- Direct day-to-day HRIS operations, including troubleshooting, testing upgrades, and implementing new functionality to meet organizational needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate existing HR workflows and business processes, enhancing efficiency and user experience.
- Lead HR technology initiatives, including system implementations, upgrades, or module updates.
- Analyze existing HR workflows, recommending and implementing technical solutions to improve efficiency.
- Supervise and develop the team by assigning priorities, providing guidance, and ensuring the team delivers reliable system support and improvements.
- Maintain accurate, consistent, and secure employee data. Establish data standards, conduct audits, manage permissions, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Act as an escalation point for complex system issues. Diagnose problems, coordinate fixes, and minimize disruption to HR operations.
- Work closely with HR, IT, Finance, and leadership to align technology capabilities with organizational goals.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including issue resolution, performance monitoring, and contract support.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources Information Systems, HR data analytics, and/or system administration with HR, Payroll administration, and Benefits practices.
- 2+ years of experience in a management position.
- Workday experience with at least one of the following areas: Workday Benefits, Workday Core HR, Workday Integrations, Workday Talent, Workday Recruiting, Workday Payroll, and Workday Advanced Reporting.
