Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our landscape construction team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with stonework, hardscaping, and masonry installation, along with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. You’ll work on a variety of projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and custom stone features.
Key Responsibilities
- Install stone, brick, block, and pavers for patios, walkways, driveways, and retaining walls
- Construct, repair, and finish masonry structures with precision
- Read and interpret project plans, measurements, and layouts
- Operate masonry tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with site prep, grading, and material handling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to meet project timelines
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional masonry or hardscape installation experience
- Strong knowledge of stone, brick, block, and paver installation techniques
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Experience using masonry saws, compactors, and related equipment
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50–75 lbs
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work on uneven surfaces for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
Compensation & Benefits
