Duties
- Assist with talent acquisition activities including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as iCIMS, Taleo, or Workday, and supporting interview scheduling and candidate communication
- Support onboarding processes by coordinating employee orientation sessions and ensuring completion of necessary documentation
- Manage employee records accurately within HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) like SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM, maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Contribute to performance management programs by collecting data for employee evaluations and supporting performance review processes
- Aid in benefits administration tasks such as enrollment, changes, and benefits inquiries, ensuring compliance with regulations like FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and OSHA standards
- Assist with HR legal compliance management by maintaining documentation related to employment law, workers' compensation, affirmative action planning, and regulatory requirements
- Support training & development initiatives by organizing sessions, tracking participation, and collecting feedback for continuous improvement
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and experience with HR systems such as Workday, UltiPro, or Kronos
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels and handle confidential information discreetly
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines through effective project management techniques
- Familiarity with employment & labor law, HR legal compliance standards, and regulatory requirements impacting HR operations
- Experience in recruiting strategies using ATS platforms like Lever or iCIMS to attract top talent efficiently
- Skills in conflict management, employee relations, and organizational design to foster a positive work environment
- Competence in data collection and analysis for HR metrics using Excel or HRIS tools to inform strategic planning and workforce management
