Workday HCM & Financials Reporting Consultant – 4-Month Contract
Hale International is partnering with a leading organization seeking an experienced Workday Reporting Consultant for an initial 4-month contract. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering reporting and analytics solutions across both Workday HCM and Financial Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy advanced reporting solutions across Workday HCM and Financials.
- Develop custom, matrix, composite, trending, and transposed reports, alongside calculated fields, dashboards, and Discovery Boards.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Payroll, and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
- Deliver reporting across areas including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Procurement, and Projects.
- Lead reporting workstreams through requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Review and optimize existing reports, data sources, calculated fields, and dashboards to improve performance, accuracy, and usability.
- Support report validation, reconciliation, security, governance, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Advise stakeholders on Workday reporting capabilities, data structures, business objects, and reporting best practices.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on Workday Reporting experience across both HCM and Financials.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end Workday reporting solutions and managing reporting workstreams.
- Strong expertise in calculated fields, custom reports, matrix reports, composite reports, dashboards, and Discovery Boards.
- Good understanding of Workday business objects, data sources, security, and cross-functional reporting dependencies.
- Experience partnering with senior HR, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, and FP&A stakeholders.
- Previous experience supporting Workday implementations, optimization initiatives, or post-production environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
