For our client, we are seeking a HCM Director to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $217,500 – $296,300 annually
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into Workday HCM solutions
- Configure and implement Workday HCM modules tailored to client needs
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and develop solutions for customization
- Advise on best practices for Workday HCM implementation
- Design and build reports and dashboards for client reporting
- Support data conversion and integration efforts with other systems
- Provide end-user training and assist with change management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Workday HCM implementations
- Strong functional understanding of payroll processing and regulations
- Experience with data conversion and migration in Workday
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
