Job Title: Workday Finance/Adaptive Planning Consultant
Location: Remote/SFO, CA
Contract role.
- Lead and support the Workday implementation project for Zuora.
- Focus on 70% Workday Financial Operations and 30% Workday HRIS/HCM.
- Configure and optimize Workday Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, and Financial Reporting.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional Workday solutions.
- Configure business processes, security, reporting, and workflows.
- Support integrations, data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and production deployment.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, HR, and technical teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Develop functional documentation and provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
- Identify process improvements and recommend best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Workday Functional consulting experience.
- Minimum of 2 full-cycle Workday Financials implementation projects.
- Strong expertise in Workday Financial Management.
- Working knowledge of Workday HCM/HRIS.
- Experience with Workday reporting, security, EIB, and Core Connectors.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Workday Financials Certification and SaaS industry experience are preferred.
