Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Core HCM, Payroll, and Recruiting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, testing, supporting, and enhancing Workday solutions while partnering with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security, reports, calculated fields, condition rules, validation rules, and tenant setup.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective and scalable Workday solutions.
- Support enhancements, releases, and production issue resolution across Core HCM, Payroll, and Recruiting.
- Develop and execute testing strategies, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect triage, and production validation.
- Document configurations, solution designs, testing outcomes, and functional requirements.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and adoption of Workday capabilities.
- Ensure all solutions align with governance, security, data integrity, and organizational standards.
- Provide functional support and troubleshooting for Workday-related issues.
- Required Qualifications
- 4–6+ years of experience in Workday Functional Consulting, Workday Administration, or HRIS.
- Deep functional expertise in Workday Core HCMo Workday Payrollo Workday Recruitingo Business Processeso Securityo Workday Reportso Calculated Fieldso Condition Ruleso Validation Ruleso Tenant Settings
- Strong hands-on experience configuring:
- Strong experience with SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect management, and production support.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Workday Certifications are preferred.
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
