For our client, we are seeking a Global Benefits Professional to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will shape and execute a global benefits strategy that supports a geographically dispersed workforce across multiple countries. The position will partner closely with senior leadership, HR stakeholders, and external vendors to strengthen program design, compliance, and employee experience. It will also play a key role in M&A due diligence, open enrollment, and the ongoing evolution of wellbeing offerings in a dynamic, international environment.
Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $215,000 – $235,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Design benefits programs aligned with a high-performance wellbeing strategy
- Develop and execute a global benefits strategy across multiple countries
- Partner with senior leadership to present plan design recommendations
- Coordinate with stakeholders across regions
- Lead benefits due diligence for M&A activity
- Design and implement health, retirement, and family-building programs
- Manage ongoing partner and vendor relationships
- Oversee benefits communications and engage employees
- Drive innovation with AI tools and digital solutions
- Manage end-to-end open enrollment and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with benefits regulations
- Administer leave of absence programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in benefits
- Proven experience managing global benefits programs
- Strong expertise in benefits compliance and retirement plans
- Experience leading M&A integrations and vendor management initiatives
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS platforms, preferably Workday
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive innovation
