Job Title: Workday Time & Absence Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration: 4 months Contract
Pay Rate: $85/hr on W2
About the Role
Team is seeking a Workday Time & Absence Analyst to support M&A integration work across multiple international acquired populations. This role will partner with HR, Payroll, and local People teams to gather statutory and company- specific absence requirements and translate them into Workday configuration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure Workday Time Off Plans, Leave of Absence Types, eligibility rules, accrual methods, and balance periods.
- Support multi-country absence requirements and statutory leave configurations.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and local People teams to gather and document requirements.
- Own configuration through Sandbox build, unit testing, UAT, defect resolution, production migration, and hypercare.
- Perform balance load reconciliation against legacy data.
- Troubleshoot Time & Absence configuration and related payroll impacts.
- Support absence-to-payroll interactions and integrations.
- Follow global Workday naming, security, and configuration standards.
- Document configuration and provide handoff to the PTECH Workday Functional team.
- Support M&A/acquired population integrations and related implementation activities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Workday Absence configuration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Time Tracking and Absence.
- Experience configuring Time Off Plans, Leave of Absence Types, eligibility rules, accruals, and balance periods.
- Proven experience with multi-country/global Workday Absence implementations.
- Understanding of statutory leave requirements and global absence policies.
- Working knowledge of Absence-to-Payroll interactions.
- Experience with Sandbox configuration, unit testing, UAT, defect resolution, production migration, and hypercare.
- Strong experience working with HR, Payroll, and People Technology stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting M&A / acquired populations.
- Experience with EMEA statutory leave regimes.
- Workday certification in Absence and/or Time Tracking.
- Experience with complex accrual rules and Time Tracking integrations.
