Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Workday integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Workday HCM and Financials integrations, EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and web services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, build, and implement robust Workday integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Workday, third-party vendors, and other state agencies.
- Design and implement Workday solutions focused on HCM, Finance, and Procurement.
- Configure and customize Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations.
- Gather integration requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, officers, directors, managers, and technical teams.
- Develop integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and web services.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain integration documentation, technical specifications, and implementation processes.
- Follow data governance, security, confidentiality, and integration best practices.
- Stay updated with Workday releases and new integration capabilities.
Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years of Workday Integration Development experience.
- Strong experience in Workday HCM and Financials integrations.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Workday Studio
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Core Connectors
- Document Transformation
- Workday Web Services
- Strong knowledge of SOAP, REST APIs, WSDL, and Web Services standards.
- Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, and Java.
- Knowledge of Workday integration security, including ISU, PGP Keys, and MFA.
- Experience with data migration, integration development, report building, and calculated fields.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Competencies:
- Experience integrating Workday with third-party applications and external systems.
- Knowledge of Finance, Procurement, and HCM business processes.
- Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and data governance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and collaboration abilities.
