Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Administrator in the heart of New York, New York. This role will be within the financial services industry, where the primary function will be to handle benefits administration tasks. The successful individual will have the responsibility to process applications, maintain records, and resolve inquiries related to customer accounts.
Responsibilities
- Administer medical and voluntary benefits programs, including 401(k) plans
- Ensure compliance with various regulations such as FMLA, ERISA, ADA, ACA, FCRA, PFL, DBL, HIPAA
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, service-minded attitude
- Interact professionally with all levels of management and associates
- Display problem-solving skills and follow-through on tasks
- Apply knowledge of OSHA and workers compensation policies
- Manage multi-state leave benefits
- Utilize HRIS and Payroll systems such as ADP, Ceridian Dayforce, Workday or equivalent HRIS platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Benefits Administrator
- Familiarity and expertise with HRIS and Payroll Systems
- Knowledge of CRM tools and strategies
- Proficiency in 401k - RRSP Administration
- Proven experience in Auditing
- Proficiency in Benefit Functions
- Experience in Claim Administration
- Proficiency in Cobra Administration
