We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior HRIS Workday Analyst to lead the administration and optimization of our Workday Benefits module. This individual will act as the primary owner of the module, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and exceptional employee experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on configuration experience, a strong understanding of employee benefits programs, and the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Workday Benefits module, overseeing day-to-day operations, maintenance, and enhancements.
- Configure, test, and implement benefit plans, eligibility rules, events, and enrollments in accordance with plan documents and compliance requirements.
- Partner with Benefits and HR teams to support open enrollment, life event processing, vendor integrations, and policy changes.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of benefit data through audits, reconciliations, and process monitoring.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to manage and troubleshoot inbound/outbound integrations (e.g., carriers, COBRA, retirement providers).
- Monitor Workday releases to assess impacts and implement new features or regulatory updates.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in internal and cross-functional projects related to Benefits and HR technology.
- Support and train HR staff and end users on system functionality and process changes.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience, including 3+ years of Workday Benefits module configuration and support.
- Deep knowledge of benefit plan design, eligibility rules, life events, and compliance regulations (ACA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Experience supporting Open Enrollment and vendor file integrations.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business language.
Preferred:
- Workday Pro Certification in Benefits.
- Experience working in a complex, multi-state or global benefits environment.
- Knowledge of related modules such as Absence or Time Off is a plus.
- Experience with Workday reporting tools and calculated fields.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- This position will be 100% remote.
- Requires extended periods working on a computer; some evening or weekend work may be required during peak benefit cycles (e.g., Open Enrollment).

Pay: $91,264.19 - $100,909.55 per year
