Workday Consultant (NO C2C/1099)

Responsibilities
- Analyze businessproblems and deliversolutions through applications, integration, and automation
- Participate in the full project lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and support
- Provide application technical expertise to address system gaps and recommend custom vs. out- of-the-box solutions
- Collaborate with third parties and internal teams to develop integration strategies and document solutions
- Support business projects through financial analysis, documentation, and training
- Translate complex business requirements into technical deliverables across a range of finance functions
- Maintain process documentation and provide mentorship to junior staff
- Stay current with industry trends through seminars and workshops
Experience
- More than 4 years of experience in a full cycle implementation of Workday Payroll and/or a Symplr/Workday Time and Attendance system.
- Expert in Payroll and Time & Attendance domain as a functional resource. Example : Proficient in payroll tax compliance, Wage and Hour laws , Overtime requirements etc.
- Good understanding of payroll data and reporting in Workday/Symplr Rime and Attendance system.
- Experience with Functional Design, Configuration, Test case preparation, Test execution and remediation , end user training and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and should be able to represent the function with stakeholders.
