Role Overview The Workday Talent & Learning Lead provides functional leadership across Talent, Learning, and Employee Experience domains within a Workday environment. This role supports optimization, configuration, and strategic enablement of Talent and Learning processes while serving as a subject matter expert for business stakeholders and project teams. Experience supporting Peakon is a strong plus.
This role is well-suited for a senior consultant who can provide functional direction, guide best practices, and support ongoing enhancements within a mature Workday tenant.
Key Responsibilities -
Serve as the functional lead for Workday Talent and Learning domains, including performance, goals, development, succession, and learning configuration

Partner with HR and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions

Provide guidance on best practices, design standards, and future-state optimization opportunities

Support enhancements, testing, releases, and change impacts across Talent and Learning functionality

Oversee configuration, security impacts, and business process frameworks related to Talent and Learning

Provide SME support for Employee Experience initiatives, including engagement and feedback solutions (Peakon experience preferred)

Support reporting, dashboards, and data integrity for Talent and Learning data

Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and governance standards
Required Qualifications -
5+ years of Workday HCM experience

Strong hands-on experience across Talent and Learning modules

Experience leading or owning functional design and configuration

Ability to translate business needs into Workday-aligned solutions

Strong understanding of Workday business process frameworks, security, and reporting concepts
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
- Workday certifications in Talent, Learning, or HCM
