Systems Analyst III (SaaS Financial Systems)

We’re partnering with a large government agency in Texas to support a major financial systems modernization initiative. This team is looking for an experienced Systems Analyst III to help support, enhance, and integrate a large-scale SaaS ERP platform used for statewide financial operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance, technology, and enterprise systems, and who can translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Support and enhance a SaaS-based financial ERP platform, including general ledger and reporting functionality
- Partner closely with IT, finance, and vendor teams to gather, analyze, and validate system requirements
- Support integrations with legacy financial systems and external enterprise platforms
- Design and maintain data integrations (ETL, APIs, secure file exchanges)
- Build and support financial reporting and dashboards using Power BI and native ERP reporting tools
- Troubleshoot complex financial data issues and system discrepancies
- Support UAT, regression testing, and integration testing efforts
- Document system designs, data mappings, and test results
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, defect triage, continuous improvement)
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical financial processing cycles
What We’re Looking For:
Required
- 6+ years supporting enterprise applications in a SaaS environment
- Strong experience with financial systems (ERP, GL, reporting)
- Experience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements
- Strong understanding of system integrations and data flows
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with large ERP platforms (Advantage, Oracle Cloud, Workday, etc.)
- Experience supporting government or public-sector financial systems
- Power BI reporting experience
- SQL for data validation and analysis
- Experience with secure data transfers (SFTP, PGP)
