We offer our customers expert training, consulting, and implementation services that drive productivity and innovation.
We are expanding our technical team and seeking another Civil Applications Specialist with a strong background in design software and a passion for helping others adopt and maximize technology in their workflows.
Technical & Product Expertise
- Provide training, technical support and subject-matter expertise for Autodesk civil infrastructure products, including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, InfraWorks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Assist clients with setup, configuration, and optimization of Civil 3D environments, including:
- Templates, styles, and standards
- Surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks oGrading and site design workflows
- Scanning , Scan to BIM
- Troubleshoot model, performance, and workflow issues related to civil infrastructure design.
Implementation & Consulting
- Support client onboarding, software implementations, and workflow transitions.
- Evaluate existing civil design processes and recommend improvements aligned with best practices.
- Assist with data migration, standards development, and interoperability between Autodesk platforms.
- Collaborate with internal sales and project teams to scope technical solutions.
Training & Enablement
- Deliver technical training, workshops, and demonstrations (remote and in-person).
- Develop training materials, documentation, and workflow guides.
- Support users at varying skill levels, from junior designers to senior engineering staff.
Client & Stakeholder Support
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients in land development, transportation, and civil infrastructure sectors.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, practical manner.
- Lead client meetings, project reviews, and technical discovery sessions.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with Autodesk product updates, new releases, and industry trends.
- Share knowledge internally and contribute to best-practice libraries and standards.
Qualifications Required
- 4–9 years of experience in civil infrastructure design, engineering technology, field surveying, or AEC software support.
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D in real-world project environments.
- Experience supporting civil design workflows (grading, drainage, roadway, utilities).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and familiarity with Autodesk AEC ecosystem tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
Preferred
- Experience working for an Autodesk reseller, consultant, or AEC technology firm.
- Knowledge of InfraWorks, Dynamo for Civil 3D, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Training or instructional experience.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
- Autodesk certifications (Civil 3D or related).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is not required for this role.
Work Environment ∙Hybrid or remote, with occasional client site visits. ∙Moderate travel may be required for training or client engagement.
