Pay Rate: $60.00 - $70.00/hrJob DescriptionThe Retirement Benefits Specialist Lead is responsible for leading high-visibility initiatives supporting U.S. Retirement Plans, with a primary focus on 401(k) investment change and operational projects. This role requires deep subject-matter expertise in U.S. retirement plan administration, ERISA compliance, and retirement plan communications.The specialist will lead and directly execute project deliverables end-to-end, owning timelines, stakeholder coordination, and execution quality. Approximately half of the workday will be spent collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and cross-functional partners.Key responsibilities include overseeing 401(k) investment implementation, defining and executing operational and communication strategies, ensuring compliance with IRS, DOL, and ERISA requirements, and serving as a trusted retirement plan SME. This role demands strong independence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables against tight project timelines.Education• Bachelor’s Degree preferredCertifications• CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) preferred
• CRSP preferredRequired Skills & ExperienceRequired Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in U.S. retirement plan administration
• Deep expertise in 401(k) investment operations and compliance
• Experience overseeing ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to lead change management initiatives
• Strong experience managing retirement plan communications
• Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and execute independentlyPreferred Skills:
