Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project lifecycle phases, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives aligned with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to facilitate project success from inception through completion. The Project Manager will utilize industry-standard methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe to drive efficiency and quality in project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions, define scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet, ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost control measures to stay within financial parameters.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis to ensure clear understanding of project needs and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee program development, program management, and project portfolio management to align with strategic objectives.
- Conduct risk management activities including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and root cause analysis.
- Apply change management principles to adapt projects to evolving business needs while minimizing disruptions.
- Supervise project teams, manage conflict resolution, and foster a collaborative team environment through effective team management practices.
- Utilize project management software such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, Workday, or ServiceNow for task tracking and documentation.
- Implement quality management processes using Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies like Business Process Modeling and Process Mapping.
- Coordinate vendor management activities and oversee IT infrastructure projects when applicable.
- Facilitate meetings effectively to ensure clear communication among stakeholders and team members.
- Prepare technical documentation including technical writing and presentation materials for executive reporting.
Experience
- Proven track record in project management with supervising experience in diverse environments.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK, Agile (Scrum/SAFe), Waterfall, Lean Six Sigma, Kanban, and Program Management frameworks.
- Strong expertise in requirements analysis, scope management, schedule development, risk management, and cost control.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Trello, Confluence, Smartsheet or equivalent software solutions.
- Demonstrated ability in program development and product lifecycle management within IT or business process environments.
- Skilled in data analysis techniques including data collection for performance measurement and process improvement initiatives like Root Cause Analysis.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with a focus on team management and conflict resolution skills.
- Effective communicator with strong presentation skills capable of facilitating meetings at all organizational levels. Pay: $67,685.17 - $98,513.32 per year
