Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic HR initiatives, manage employee relations, and support organizational development. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of human capital management, employment law, and HRIS systems, with a focus on fostering a positive workplace environment and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This position is integral to driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, and workforce management strategies across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees using ATS platforms such as Workday, Taleo, or iCIMS.
- Oversee employee orientation programs and conduct regular employee evaluations to support professional growth.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance.
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and affirmative action planning.
- Facilitate change management initiatives and organizational design projects to support business growth and restructuring efforts.
- Handle employee relations issues with effective conflict management strategies while maintaining confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA regulations and manage leave administration processes.
- Maintain HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, or Oracle HCM for data collection and workforce management reporting.
- Support performance management processes by coordinating training & development programs and succession planning activities.
- Assist in HR sourcing efforts through social media management and other recruiting channels to attract top talent.
- Collaborate on strategic planning initiatives related to human resources management and organizational effectiveness.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of human resources management systems (HRIS) such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, or Ceridian is preferred.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation policies, and contract administration.
- Demonstrated ability in talent acquisition strategies including ATS utilization like iCIMS or Lever.
- Experience with benefits administration and payroll systems such as Paylocity or Dayforce is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience in conflict management, organizational design, performance management, training & development is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) or equivalent education are preferred.
