About the Role:
Job Title: Data Analyst
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the transition of transaction processing systems and work closely with GL and financial reporting systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Workday reporting, SQL, and data visualization tools, along with the ability to analyse and transform financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support future-state transition of transaction processing systems
- Work with General Ledger (GL) and financial reporting systems
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Workday and visualization tools
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
- Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver insights
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience with Workday Reporting
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Python for data analysis
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or QuickSight
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Banking / Financial domain
- Exposure to PySpark
Location: Richmond, VA - Hybrid (Open for Mclean, VA / Plano, TX)
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$70,000-80,000 annually]/[$40.00-45.00 per hour]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
