Team Overview
Our People Experience (PX) team leads PowerSchool’s human-resources function, equipping and encouraging PowerSchoolers to reach their potential while driving business results. The PX team manages the organization’s global workforce infrastructure; supports the overall employee experience; and attracts, develops, and retains talent.
Responsibilities
The Sr. Workday Benefits Analyst will support the implementation and ongoing administration of the global Workday Benefits and Absence Management modules, including configuration, reporting, and integrations. This role will partner closely with Total Rewards, Payroll, IT, and vendors to ensure accurate data, effective system design, and overall system readiness and successful deployment for all regions including North America and India.
The analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, implementation consultants, and technical teams, gathering requirements, configuring solutions, and producing clear documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and configure global Workday Benefits and Absence Management rules and business processes in partnership with implementation consultants, Total Rewards, Payroll, IT, and external vendors.
- Own Benefits system readiness by identifying risks, validating configurations and integrations, and ensuring all prerequisites are met to support on-time go-live.
- Configure and support Workday Benefits and Absence Management business processes in alignment with defined design standards and global requirements.
- Support data and process migration from UKG and other legacy systems, including data mapping, workbook completion, open enrollment design, and cutover execution.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex Benefits and Leave configuration, troubleshooting, and production support issues.
- Execute and support testing activities, including unit testing, end-to-end testing, release validation, and post-deployment stabilization.
- Ensure adherence to Workday operational standards, including environment management, change control, testing protocols, and incident management.
- Maintain accurate, region-specific documentation for Benefits and Absence Management configurations, processes, and user guidance.
- Gather requirements from Benefits stakeholders, assess business needs, analyze system impacts, and translate requirements into functional solutions.
- Support Benefits-related integrations and reporting, including requirements gathering, testing, migration, and documentation.
- Provide operational support for key activities such as Open Enrollment cycles and Workday releases.
- Collaborate with vendors and consultants to resolve issues, support implementations, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Develop and maintain user-facing documentation and training materials to support adoption and ongoing use of Workday Benefits and Absence Management.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, or owningWorkday’s Benefits and Absence SKUs on a global scale.
- Demonstrated experience in migrating Benefits and Absence administration from legacy HR systems (e.g., UKG/Kronos, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, ADP) to Workday or equivalent multisystem consolidation.
- Proven track record partnering with Total Rewards, Finance, and IT leadership to translate Benefits and Absence administration and requirements into scalable system designs and roadmaps
- Basic project management
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and security protocols
- Excellentverbal andwrittencommunicational skills, withabilityto summarizesystemgaps and opportunitiestonon-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $82,200 - $102,800 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
