Description
We are seeking a detail oriented and highly organized HR Coordinator to support critical pre hire and onboarding activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process by coordinating offer letter preparation, facilitating background checks, and providing ongoing administrative support to Talent Acquisition and HR partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment, maintains strict confidentiality, and delivers a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Offer Letter & Hiring Administration

Coordinate the preparation and generation of employment offer letters within the HRIS/ATS, ensuring accuracy of compensation, start dates, job titles, and candidate information

Track offer approvals and ensure required documentation is completed prior to release to candidates

Monitor candidate offer acceptance and ensure timely progression to “ready to hire” or equivalent status within the system
Background Check & Pre Employment Screening

Initiate and facilitate background check processes following offer acceptance, including coordinating with third party vendors when applicable

Serve as a point of contact for candidates regarding background check instructions, timelines, and next steps, escalating issues as needed

Track completion status and notify HR or onboarding teams once pre employment requirements are satisfied
HR & Administrative Support

Maintain accurate and up to date candidate and employee records within HR systems and shared tracking tools

Support recruiters, hiring managers, and HR partners with administrative tasks related to hiring, onboarding, and documentation

Prepare and send standard candidate communications related to offers, background checks, and onboarding milestones

Assist with reporting, file management, audits, and process documentation as needed

Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

1+ years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting coordination, or administrative support within an HR environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System or HRIS (e.g., Workday, Jobvite, or similar) preferred
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $25 to $30. The range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual rate will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
