Job Duties Include:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and promotions
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters and HR inquiries
- Administer benefits, leaves of absence (FMLA/state leaves), and HRIS platforms
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law
- Partner with managers on performance management, PIPs, and coaching conversations
- Own and update HR policies, employee handbook, and internal documentation
- Support recruiting by coordinating offer letters, background checks, and new hire paperwork
- Lead engagement surveys, DEI initiatives, and culture programs
- Run HR reporting and share people analytics insights with leadership
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a remote or distributed company
- Working knowledge of US employment law (multi-state experience a plus)
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS platform (Rippling, BambooHR, Workday, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
