About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workday Finance, Procurement & Grants Support Analyst to provide ongoing production support and administration for Workday Financial Management, Procurement, and Grants modules. This is a part-time remote position supporting end users, resolving system issues, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives within the Workday environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of Workday Financials and experience supporting business users in a post-production environment. This role requires excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities - Serve as the primary point of contact for support tickets, user inquiries, and system-related issues within Workday Finance, Procurement, and Grants modules.
- Monitor, prioritize, triage, and resolve end-user tickets in accordance with established service levels.
- Investigate and troubleshoot system errors, configuration issues, process failures, and data discrepancies.
- Provide ongoing post-production support and maintenance for Workday Financials applications.
- Perform system administration activities, including security, business process support, testing, and configuration updates as needed.
- Analyze and implement enhancement requests, change requests, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend Workday best-practice solutions.
- Support testing activities for Workday releases, updates, and system changes.
- Develop and maintain end-user documentation, knowledge articles, training materials, and support procedures.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide user training as needed.
- Partner with functional and technical teams to ensure system stability and optimal performance.
- Assist with root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for recurring issues.
Required Qualifications - 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Workday Financial Management modules.

- Financial Accounting
- Procurement
- Grants Management
- Supplier Accounts
- Expense Management
- Budgeting and Financial Reporting
- Experience managing and resolving production support tickets.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting Workday business processes, security, reporting, and configuration.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications - Workday Financials certification(s).
- Experience with Workday reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
- Experience supporting higher education, nonprofit, government, or grant-funded organizations.
- Knowledge of Workday release management and testing processes.
- Experience with Workday integrations and cross-functional business processes.
