We’re looking for a Workday Principal Consultant, Payroll to join our high-performing team. This role is essential to delivering solutions that drive business outcomes for our clients. What You’ll Do:
- Partner with clients to understand business needs and align them with scalable, effective Workday solutions
- Lead and support the configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Payroll
- Participate in design workshops and requirement gathering, translating complex challenges into executable plans
- Tackle projects of varying size and complexity with clarity and confidence — always focused on delivering value
- Bring a consultative approach to problem-solving, helping clients simplify where possible and optimize for long-term success
- Collaborate across teams with a shared commitment to delivering outcomes, not just outputs
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Payroll required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and deliver clear, actionable solutions
- Proven success collaborating within team environments, building strong partnerships, communicating effectively, and contributing to shared goals
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments while managing multiple priorities and meeting project milestones
- Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes
- Workday consulting experience, either as an internal practitioner or with a consulting/services partner
- Must be U.S.-based and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

- Experience managing payroll operations
- Experience supporting global payroll processes, including PECI integrations and Workday Cloud Connect
- Functional knowledge of Workday HCM, including the ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
- Experience partnering with Finance on general ledger mapping and payroll accounting postings
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and organizational integrations

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $120,000-170,000. Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
