Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a leading professional services organization supporting complex, mission-driven programs seeking an experienced and strategic Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders, driving full-cycle recruiting efforts while ensuring alignment with workforce needs, business priorities, and labor market trends. The ideal candidate is highly consultative, data-driven, and experienced in recruiting within federal or highly regulated environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, extending offers, and coordinating onboarding activities
- Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and hiring priorities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using social recruiting, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and AI-enabled recruiting tools
- Identify and engage passive candidates through Boolean search, networking, and targeted outreach strategies
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve recruiting strategies and talent pipelines
- Ensure all recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Manage candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle, ensuring clear and consistent communication
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking within Workday ATS
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Support recruitment reporting, metrics tracking, and workforce planning initiatives
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to support onboarding and hiring integration efforts
- Stay current on labor market trends and competitive talent landscapes
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- 6+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting federal government or government contracting environments
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience working with Workday ATS
- Strong knowledge of Boolean search, sourcing strategies, and social recruiting techniques
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical and consulting skills with the ability to advise on hiring strategy
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
