Work You'll Do
As a Consultant, Functional Transformation on our Human Capital team, you will:
:
- Provide ongoing production support post-implementation, including troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining the Workday system for the Benefits or Payroll modules
- Support end-to-end testing of the Workday Benefits or Payroll modules by identifying and resolving issues to ensure the system meets user requirements and integrates smoothly with existing business processes
- Offer guidance and support on Workday Benefits or Payroll modules functionalities
- Support functional activities for the Workday Benefits and/or Payroll workstream to include planning, process design, configuration, user acceptance testing, etc.
- Assist clients in addressing their most complex business challenges by maximizing performance of the Workday Payroll and/or Benefits functions through leading-edge systems and processes
- Define, build and implement enhancements to Workday Payroll and/or Benefits processes and structures to improve its alignment to business objectives and help drive business results
- Coordinate with other workstreams within the project for defining an integrated solution
- Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects

Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience delivering Workday HCM configuration or support solutions
- 1+ years of system configuration or application management support (AMS) experience specifically with the Workday Benefits and/or Payroll modules
- Ability to obtain and maintain required Workday certification for this position
- Bachelor's degree
- Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:
- Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg)
- Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
- Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
- Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
