Job Description:
The Compensation Analyst Contractor will support a broad range of compensation and job architecture initiatives, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across compensation programs and organizational structures. This role will partner with HR and business stakeholders to evaluate positions, maintain job documentation, support compensation processes, and administer
compensation-related activities within HR systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead job description review and standardization initiatives utilizing established job architecture frameworks and available technology tools
Create, update, and maintain standardized job descriptions across job families and organizational levels
Develop consistent job summaries, duties and responsibilities, qualifications, and knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs)
Review and update job description templates to ensure alignment with organizational standards
Conduct job description audits and maintain documentation consistency across departments
Evaluate Job Analysis Questionnaires and provide recommendations regarding market adjustments, promotions, and job classifications
Conduct market pricing analyses and provide compensation recommendations based on market data and internal equity considerations
Support annual compensation planning activities, including merit review cycles and labor budget planning
Perform testing, reporting, and audit activities related to compensation programs and HR systems
Generate compensation change documentation and employee communications as needed
Maintain compensation-related data within Workday and other HR systems
Process contractor lifecycle transactions, including hires, extensions, and terminations
Support incentive program administration and eligibility assignments
Respond to day-to-day compensation inquiries and requests from HR and business leaders
Prepare reports, analyses, and recommendations to support compensation decision-making
Assist with special projects and other compensation-related initiatives as assigned
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
1-3 years of professional compensation, human resources, finance, or related analytical experience
Experience supporting compensation programs, job evaluations, or organizational design initiatives preferred
Technical Skills
Experience conducting job description reviews, audits, and maintenance
Knowledge of FLSA exemption classifications and compensation administration principles
Experience performing market pricing analyses and developing compensation recommendations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis functions
Experience working with HRIS platforms; Workday experience preferred
Strong reporting, auditing, and data management skills
