Job Summary/Company: Our client, a federal integrator, is seeking a Workday HCM Solutions Architect. The selected individual will work with the IT and HR teams to successfully implement Workday HCM. A significant part of this role focuses on the Core and Advanced Compensation modules. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. You must be local to the Washington DC area, as this position requires onsite work weekly, though the team is working a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver projects in the Human Capital Management (HCM) area by using strong project management skills, deep analytical capabilities, creativity of a solution architect, and process orientation of a functional expert.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and partner with clients to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality.
- Lead functional projects and configuration activities for enhancements and new functionality in the HCM area.
- Architect Workday HCM and Compensation solutions to ensure all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated.
- Manage a small team of functional analysts and mentor junior members of the team.
Qualifications/Background Profile
- 5+ years of experience with HCM systems
- 3+ years of experience with Workday HCM, including HCM touch points Core and Advanced Compensation
- 3+ years of experience with project management
- 2+ years of experience with people management
- Knowledge of HR processes
- Bachelor's degree
