About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant to support a U.S. Payroll implementation project. This is a hands-on contract role focused on payroll configuration, testing, integrations, and go-live/Post go-live support. The consultant will work closely with Payroll, HRIS, and implementation partners to ensure a successful deployment, knowledge transfer and Post production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Workday Payroll components including earnings, deductions, garnishments, tax setup, costing allocations, pay slips, and security
- Partner with Payroll Operations and implementation teams to validate business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
- Support payroll integrations using Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, and APIs
- Assist with data validation, payroll parallel testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT activities
- Troubleshoot payroll configuration and integration issues throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Develop and maintain payroll-related reports and calculated fields as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local U.S. payroll regulations
- Document configurations, business processes, testing results, and support procedures
- Provide knowledge transfer and post-go-live stabilization support
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Workday Payroll implementations
- Strong expertise in U.S. Payroll, including federal, state, and local payroll compliance
- Proven experience configuring Workday Payroll
- Experience supporting Workday integrations, including EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio
- Experience with payroll testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields
- Experience supporting Payroll integrations with Time Tracking, Benefits, Finance, and third-party payroll vendors
- Prior experience participating in end-to-end Workday Payroll implementations
- Knowledge of SOX controls and payroll audit requirements

Compensation
Pay Rate: $98.41- $108.41/hr.
