Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday Financial Consultant to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will specialize in implementing and supporting Workday Financial Management solutions, with a strong focus on financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and accounting operations.
As a Package Consultant, you will work closely with clients to design, configure, and deploy Workday Finance solutions, ensuring seamless integration of financial and workforce data. You will play a key role in optimizing business processes, improving system performance, and supporting ongoing enhancements within the Workday environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support Workday Financials solutions with a focus on business requirements
- Configure and manage General Ledger (GL), Accounting Center, and related financial modules
- Design and implement Workday Accounting Center integrations and accounting rules
- Work on Workday proprietary tools and integrations to ensure seamless data flow across systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes within Workday
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Provide post-implementation support and system enhancements
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and best practices in financial processes
- Participate in Agile project delivery and client interactions
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Workday Financials GL (General Ledger)
- Hands-on experience with Workday Accounting Center
- Experience with Workday proprietary integrations and tools
- In-depth knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting
- Experience in end-to-end Workday Financial implementation
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts (EIB, Workday Studio, APIs)
- Experience with business process frameworks in Workday
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Workday Financials Certification
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics or Reporting tools
- Knowledge of financial planning and forecasting solutions
- Experience with cloud-based ERP systems
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Workday Financials or ERP Finance implementations
