Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant – Workday HCM Benefits to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Workday Benefits solutions. This role will partner with clients and internal stakeholders to optimize benefits processes, support system enhancements, and deliver scalable HR technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead Workday HCM Benefits workstreams through all phases of implementation.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Configure and optimize Workday Benefits to meet organizational needs.
- Support solution design, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated solutions.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and issue resolution.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality client service.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience delivering Workday HCM solutions.
- 2+ years of hands-on Workday Benefits configuration experience.
- Experience leading at least one full lifecycle Workday Benefits implementation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable Workday certifications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed based on project requirements.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Workday Benefits Certification.
- Experience with multiple Workday implementation projects.
- Consulting or professional services experience.
- Experience with business process design and optimization.
- Knowledge of change management and user adoption strategies.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
