Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a broad spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance management, and workforce planning. Your expertise will support the development of a positive workplace culture, ensure regulatory adherence, and facilitate strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a comprehensive understanding of human resources practices, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting interviews, and managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure timely hiring processes.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs to promote engagement and retention.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act).
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance management activities to support professional growth and organizational objectives.
- Manage HR data collection, entry, and analysis using HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Excel for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, OSHA standards, and HR legal requirements across all HR functions.
- Support change management initiatives and assist in organization design to optimize workforce effectiveness.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality while mediating conflicts as needed.
- Develop and implement affirmative action plans, succession planning strategies, and training & development programs.
- Oversee payroll processing using platforms such as ADP or Paychex while ensuring accuracy in personnel administration.
- Maintain accurate records of workers' compensation claims and manage regulatory reporting obligations.
Skills
- Extensive experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of employment & labor law.
- Proficiency in HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Taleo, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability in project management, strategic planning, organization design, and workforce management.
- Knowledge of benefits administration, payroll processing, performance management systems, and HR sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel data analysis for reporting purposes.
- Familiarity with social media management for employer branding initiatives.
- Experience with conflict management and employee relations strategies.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Administrative experience supporting HR departments with data collection, data entry, and document preparation.
