Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through innovative channels, managing the interview process, and coordinating onboarding activities such as employee orientation.
- Oversee employee relations by managing conflict resolution, conducting misconduct investigations, and facilitating effective communication between staff and management.
- Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee wellness initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Manage HR systems such as HRIS (Human Resources Information System), Workday, ADP, or equivalent platforms to maintain accurate personnel records and streamline HR processes.
- Develop and implement performance management strategies, including employee evaluations, succession planning, and training & development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by managing Workers' Compensation claims, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) administration, OSHA standards, and employment/labor law adherence.
- Support organizational design initiatives by participating in change management projects, process improvements, and strategic planning efforts to optimize human capital management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising or managing human resources teams with a strong understanding of HR sourcing, recruiting, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in employment law compliance, employee relations management, benefits administration, and HR legal requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills paired with excellent communication skills to effectively handle employee misconduct investigations and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency with HR systems such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro, Taleo, Kronos, Paychex, Paylocity or similar platforms; data analysis skills are highly valued.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day HR operations; experience with process improvement initiatives is preferred.
- Management experience with the ability to lead teams confidently while fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and familiarity with payroll systems like Dayforce or Ceridian is advantageous.
