Title: Workday Business Analyst

Summary:
This position will be on the Absence Workday product team. This person will be a key partner with business and product stakeholders to gather/refine requirements, assist with development, and complete UAT testing prior to release. Excellent communication is a must as they will be working closely with executive-level employees, as well as the product team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business and product stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.
- Configure and support Workday Absence solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Translate business requirements into functional system designs and configuration changes.
- Support development activities and validate solutions prior to deployment.
- Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test case creation, defect tracking, and validation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot Workday Absence issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Workday teams, including HR, Payroll, Benefits, and technical integration teams.
- Maintain documentation related to business processes, configurations, testing results, and system enhancements.
- Support production releases and participate in ongoing product improvements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Hands-on experience supporting Workday Absence in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Lead Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions.
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Absence functionality.
- Experience leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Deep understanding of the Workday Business Process Framework.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting additional Workday modules such as: Payroll, Benefits, Core HCM, and Time Tracking
- Experience supporting or partnering on Workday integrations.
- Previous Workday certification(s)
- Experience supporting Workday tenants within large, complex enterprise organizations.
- Experience working in Agile or product-based environments.
