We are currently hiring Health Revenue Agents to support healthcare revenue operations through structured outbound calls to insurance payers.
This is not a traditional customer service role. Agents will make outbound calls to insurance companies, navigate automated IVR systems, speak with payer representatives, ask a defined series of questions, and accurately document the information received.
Success in this position requires patience, accuracy, consistency, strong listening skills, and the ability to follow a defined process repeatedly without sacrificing quality.
Day-to-Day Project Tasks
- Conduct outbound & Inbound calls to healthcare insurance payers.
- Navigate payer IVR and automated phone systems.
- Wait on hold when necessary and remain productive and professional throughout the process.
- Connect with insurance representatives and follow a predefined call workflow.
- Ask specific required questions regarding healthcare claims or account information.
- Accurately capture and document payer responses.
- Enter all required information into the designated CRM or client platform.
- Review information for completeness and accuracy before completing each interaction.
- Follow established procedures and escalation requirements.
- Maintain consistent productivity and quality throughout the workday.
- Identify unusual situations or recurring issues and escalate them appropriately.

This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable with structured, repetitive work and detailed process execution.
You do not need to be a healthcare revenue-cycle expert to succeed in this position. What matters most is your ability to follow instructions, ask the required questions, listen carefully, and document information correctly.

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of call center, customer service, administrative, healthcare, insurance, or related experience preferred.
- Previous outbound calling experience strongly preferred.
- Healthcare, medical billing, insurance, claims, or revenue-cycle experience is a plus but not required.
- Previous CRM or data-entry system experience preferred.
- Ability to type 30 WPM with at least 90% accuracy consistently.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to follow defined scripts, questions, procedures, and workflows.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems while speaking with payer representatives.
- Ability to work independently and utilize available resources.
- Ability to maintain composure during extended hold times or repetitive calls.
- Ability to meet client productivity, attendance, accuracy, and quality expectations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls according to assigned workflows and productivity expectations.
- Professionally communicate with insurance payer representatives.
- Navigate payer phone menus and IVR systems efficiently.
- Ask all required questions exactly and completely.
- Actively listen to payer responses and accurately capture the information provided.
- Accurately document required call details and outcomes in the designated system.
- Review entries for accuracy before completing each interaction.
- Follow all established client processes and compliance requirements.
- Identify situations requiring additional review and escalate appropriately.
- Manage multiple systems and screens simultaneously.
- Move efficiently from one assigned call or task to the next.
- Maintain punctuality, schedule adherence, and availability throughout assigned hours.
- Remain professional and focused during repetitive work and extended payer hold times.
- Meet established productivity, quality, and documentation standards.
- Accept coaching and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Cross-train on additional healthcare revenue workflows as requested.
Hardware / Software Requirements
To be successful in this remote role, you must have your own computer and home-office setup that meets the following minimum specifications:
- Personal computer: Laptop or desktop only. No Chromebooks, MacBooks, iPads, netbooks, or tablets.
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 5200 series or greater. Computers must have at least 4 performance cores.
- Example: A 10-core computer with only 2 performance cores does not meet this requirement.
- Memory: Minimum 8GB RAM.
- Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit or higher.
- Display: Minimum resolution of 1280 × 768.
- Dual monitors required.
- Internet: Reliable high-speed internet with a wired Ethernet connection directly to the router.
- Audio: Wired USB noise-canceling headset with microphone.
- The wired USB headset must also be used during the interview.
- Security: Current antivirus software with a recent scan completed and firewall enabled.
- Dedicated, professional, distraction-free home workspace.
