The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful planning, execution, and delivery of ERP and enterprise software implementation projects. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
The Project Manager will partner closely with clients, consultants, solution architects, technical teams, and executive stakeholders to coordinate activities, mitigate risks, manage communications, and drive project outcomes. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with experience managing complex software implementation projects in fast-paced environments.
This full-time position reports to the Director of Project Management and is a remote role.
Lead end-to-end ERP and enterprise software implementation projects, from initiation and planning through deployment, post-go-live stabilization, and project closure
Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and project documentation to ensure successful delivery of project objectives
Coordinate and direct cross-functional project teams, including consulting, technical, development, integration, data migration, training, client, and third-party resources
Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests, implementing mitigation and escalation strategies as necessary
Serve as the primary client and stakeholder liaison, fostering strong relationships, managing expectations, facilitating decision-making, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor project performance and financial health, including budget adherence, forecasting, billing milestones, resource utilization, and overall project profitability
Facilitate project governance activities, including project kickoff meetings, status reviews, steering committee meetings, executive updates, and adherence to established methodologies and best practices
Support project initiation and planning activities, including project estimation, Statement of Work (SOW) reviews, project handoffs, and resource planning
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to project management standards, templates, tools, PMO maturity efforts, and organizational process enhancements
Leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled project management and productivity tools, while maintaining expertise in ERP solutions, implementation methodologies, industry trends, and project management standards to improve project outcomes and customer satisfaction
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support
Proven ability to manage project scope, risks, issues, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience managing QAD, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday, UKG, or similar enterprise system implementations
Experience within manufacturing, distribution, life sciences, professional services, or technology industries
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not directly supervise employees. However, the Project Manager is responsible for coordinating project resources, facilitating team activities, and providing leadership and direction to project team members in support of successful project outcomes

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, regular business hours, with some after-hours work as business needs require to support client implementations, project milestones, or critical project activities.
Travel is expected for this position, primarily for client meetings and project needs. Estimated travel: approximately 10-25%.
The compensation range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 annually. The incentive pay is up to 30% of base salary, tied to successful onboarding, training completion, and performance milestones.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, certifications, and demonstrated expertise. Travel may range up to approximately 25% depending on client needs.
