Workday HCM Functional Analyst / Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Analyst / Consultant to provide part-time support to an established HRIS team. This individual will provide broad functional support across Workday HCM, helping with day-to-day requests, reporting, troubleshooting, testing, and general production support.
This opportunity is best suited for a well-rounded Workday professional who is comfortable working across multiple functional areas rather than specializing exclusively in one module.
Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day Workday HCM functional support and issue resolution

Build, modify, and troubleshoot Workday reports and calculated fields

Create and support EIBs as needed

Assist with Position Management, Job Profiles, and Job Architecture activities

Support testing, defect identification, and configuration validation

Troubleshoot and triage Workday integration issues, including reviewing errors and supporting testing

Provide functional support across Benefits, Compensation, Time Off, and Leave

Support Benefits and Open Enrollment activities through testing and issue diagnosis

Assist with identifying potential causes of system, feed, or configuration issues

Partner with HRIS team members and business stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues

Escalate more complex functional or technical issues when appropriate
Desired Experience

Hands-on experience supporting Workday HCM in a production environment

Strong Workday Reporting and EIB experience

Experience with Position Management and Job Profiles / Job Architecture

Working knowledge of Workday Benefits, including testing and troubleshooting

Exposure to Workday Compensation, Time Off, and Leave

Ability to troubleshoot Workday configuration and diagnose functional issues

Familiarity with Workday integrations and the ability to review, test, and triage integration issues

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Comfortable operating as a broad Workday HCM generalist across multiple functional areas

Experience supporting global Time Off and Leave processes

Experience working with integration error logs and file-based integrations

Experience supporting job architecture or job leveling initiatives
Engagement Details
