LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for a rapidly growing, multi-site healthcare services organization with a strong, people-focused culture. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key components of the month-end close process, contribute to financial statement analysis, and partner closely with leadership on process improvements. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and support monthly close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Analyze P&L and balance sheet activity; research and resolve discrepancies
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insight into financial performance
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure timely completion of audit requests
- Maintain general ledger integrity and support internal control documentation
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional accounting initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
- Experience with accounting systems/ERP platforms (Workday Finance preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query
- Experience with Alteryx and payroll accounting is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
