About the role
We are looking for a Benefits Manager to lead the design and delivery of our US benefits and retirement programs, and to help shape our global Total Rewards approach.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of Global Total Rewards & Mobility in London, you will partner closely with Payroll, Finance, HR colleagues in Wyoming and our brokers across the US.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership: you will run open enrolment and the annual benefits audit, manage vendors, lead the Benefits Committee and bring benefits to life through clear communications and sessions.
What you will do
- Design, implement and manage health, welfare and retirement programs that are competitive, compliant and cost-effective.
- Lead open enrolment, the annual benefits audit and quarterly Benefits Committee meetings.
- Manage brokers, carriers and retirement vendors, including renewals and performance.
- Administer COBRA, leave of absence and service awards, and manage benefits workflows in Workday.
- Benchmark international benefits and support global Total Rewards initiatives.
- Deliver new hire orientations and employee education, and keep our benefits information clear and up to date.
What you will bring
- Demonstrable benefits management experience in US or global companies, including retirement plans.
- Evidence of leading employee communication sessions and annual benefits audits.
- Workday benefits configuration experience and strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA and COBRA.
- Excellent attention to detail, financial and analytical skills, and a passion for linking benefits with employee engagement.
- Preferred: experience in manufacturing, mining or energy, and exposure to pension plans, actuarial reporting or unionized environments.
