WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
As a part of the Recording Academy's Information Technology department, the Workday Administrator is responsible for 2nd and 3rd tier ERP support for the company and its affiliates. In this hands-on technical role, you will be responsible for performing enterprise application administrative functions including security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, reporting, and feature releases. You are service oriented, collaborative, and work with a sense of urgency.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support the Workday application including functional configuration, testing, business process optimization, integrations, and maintenance for the HCM, Payroll, and Finance modules.
- Contribute to evaluating system functionality and user needs to support opportunities for improvement.
- Gather requirements for change requests and evaluate and document technical and functional specifications against available systems and functionality.
- Implement, test, and maintain best practices for systems and processes within the company configuration.
- Resolve issues through active troubleshooting and diagnostic research.
- Uphold data governance and data integrity throughout the ERP and all integrated applications.
- Monitor tickets and respond to daily support requests.
- Write standard, advanced, matrix and composite reports as well as create complex calculated fields, custom objects, and worksheets.
- Design job aids and lead user training.
- Liaise with the Workday Community to access best practices.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor
- 's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of Workday systems administration, preferably in an IT support environment. Workday implementation and administration experience preferred.
- Workday Finance experience a must.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technology requirements that leverage the existing technology stack.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Financial/IT system audit experience a plus.
- Ability to articulate financial information and policies to the organization. Experience in analyzing financial data, financial reporting, and forecasting is a plus.
- Experience with report writing.
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent troubleshooting methods with the ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly.
- Availability for some travel for periodic team meetings and some evenings or weekends for off-hours maintenance as needed.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
The starting rate for this position is $37.65 to $41.78 per hour , benchmarked against industry standards. Rates for positions required to be in specific geographic locations reflect the corresponding labor market.
The actual offer extended will depend on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and the role's requirements and will include our comprehensive benefits package (with medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k match, generous paid time off, and more).
